Restaurant Manager

Rebecca grew up in Sioux Falls the youngest of three, surrounded by sports and music. A lifelong musician, she sings, plays the piano and drums. Her early memories include attending church downtown followed by a visit to the falls. She chose to live and work in DTSF over the past 8 years and the downtown community has had a large influence on molding her career. 

Fresh out of school she worked with a retail baking company and then at age 22 joined The Market restaurant as a server, where she was introduced to the Sommelier career life and found the study of wines fascinating. After 2 years of study, she took her first sommelier exam in Aspen CO and celebrated her accomplishment with a memorably satisfying glass of champagne at the base of Aspen Mountain. She then moved into a managerial role at The Market and continued her studies of wine and winemaking while serving guests at The Market for another three years. 

In the past year, she took a break from the restaurant industry and worked in music therapy with Avera Health. She soon realized that her passion is in hospitality, wine, and food and is delighted to take on the opportunity of Restaurant Manager at Harvester Kitchen by Bryan. Rebecca is extremely proud to be a part of the team bringing welcoming service, outstanding food and wine and a new dining experience to DTSF.
